We want to understand your needs and desires. Life overtakes us at times. But in the midst of your busyness do you ever feel the nudge of the Holy Spirit to get back to your faith? These are some of the questions we will be asking you in the next few weeks. Take time to pray, but importantly listen in the quiet of the night to God's call to you.

  • Spiritual Calling and Passion:
    • What are the core values and beliefs that drive my faith?
    • Which Bible stories or teachings have deeply impacted me?
    • What specific aspects of the Christian life do I feel most passionate about sharing with others?
    • What are my natural spiritual gifts (teaching, leadership, evangelism, encouragement, mercy)?
  • Ministry Focus:
    • Do I want to focus on working with children, youth, young adults, families, or seniors?
    • Am I drawn to discipleship, worship leadership, missions, social justice, or pastoral care?
    • Would I be most effective in a local church setting, a non-profit organization, or a community outreach program?
  • Leadership and Skills:
    • What leadership qualities do I possess that could be utilized in ministry?
    • What skills do I need to develop to be effective in a ministry role?
    • Am I comfortable speaking in public, leading small groups, or facilitating difficult conversations?
  • Personal Considerations:
    • What are my personal boundaries and limitations regarding time commitment, emotional availability, and stress management?
    • How can I maintain a healthy work-life balance while pursuing ministry?
    • What support system do I have in place to navigate challenges and maintain spiritual well-being?
  • Further Exploration:
    • What opportunities exist within my local church to explore different ministry areas?
    • Can I shadow or volunteer with experienced ministers to gain insights into different roles?
    • What educational paths (seminary, Bible college, certificate programs) could support my ministry goals?
